The workshop, conceived and realized by Vitalba Canino, architect and designer of jewelry, is located in Via Lungarini no.23, a street characterized by noble palaces of great architectural importance, which flows into Piazza Marina, one of the main historical squares of Palermo. The space is a laboratory - a hospitable and welcoming atelier like a home, where design enthusiasts and accessories are welcomed. The sensation that one feels when entering is, in fact, just the sensation of warmth. Inside the space, the person in charge personally designs and creates handmade "800" silver jewelery but also in gold-plated brass, which have an unconventional imprint and are unique items of limited production. The work table is a real creative chaos hardly in order because from the chaos and the wealth of ideas come out new projects and new lines. In addition to the jewels Vitalba Canino designs and makes craftsmen of the ALAB association realize accessories such as hats, stoles, enriched both by jewel elements and sometimes even bags, but will certainly extend the production also to accessories such as belts. He already has some household objects in mind and partially designed them. The workshop is also a place where artistic expressions of other craftsmen of the ALAB association are exhibited, at the time watercolors and restored tables, but in the future other realities will be hosted. It is a space open to events aimed at promoting the association, to make known some members who do not own a shop but also supporting members.
